Milan, June 17 (LaPresse) – "Everything will be fine. Thank you for the many messages." These were the words shared in a post on Instagram by Achille Polonara, forward for Virtus Bologna and the Italian national basketball team, after being diagnosed today with myeloid leukemia.
Polonara is currently hospitalized at Sant'Orsola Malpighi Hospital in Bologna, where he has already begun specific treatment.
