Milan, 18 June. (LaPresse) – Two legends of world football met in Miami, USA, where Leo Messi received a visit from Roberto Baggio. The Argentine star revealed the news on his social media profiles, posting a photo of himself smiling alongside Il Divin Codino and proudly showing off an Italian national team shirt he received as a gift, with the number 10 and Baggio's name on the back. ‘What a wonderful visit! Thank you, Roberto, for this special and meaningful gift and for the wonderful conversation we shared. You are a star and a football legend. It will always be a pleasure to welcome you whenever you want to visit us,’ Messi wrote on social media. Baggio also posted a series of photos on his Instagram story of his meeting with the Miami team, along with Messi, Luis Suarez and coach Mascherano. Baggio is in the US to follow the Club World Cup, as can be seen from other photos showing him with FIFA president Gianni Infantino and other football legends such as Brazilian Ronaldo and David Beckham, now owner of Miami FC.
