Pisa, 26 June (LaPresse) – Pisa announces that Alberto Gilardino has been appointed Technical Director of the First Team. ‘The former World Champion will take his place on the Nerazzurri bench starting next season,’ reads a statement from the club, ‘after coaching in all professional categories, including Pro Vercelli, Siena and Genoa. With the Rossoblù, he also won a Cadetto championship, then securing safety in the top flight the following season.’ The new coach of Pisa Sporting Club has signed a two-year contract with an option for a third year. The composition of his technical staff and the date of his official presentation to the press will be announced in the coming days.
