Turin, July 1 (LaPresse) – Flavio Cobolli advances to the second round of Wimbledon, the third Grand Slam of the current season on the London grass courts. The Italian player, ranked 24th in the world, defeated Kazakh Beibit Zhukayev (world No. 247), who was playing his first-ever match in a major tournament. The Roman closed the match with a score of 6-3, 7-6(7), 6-1 after saving a set point in the tiebreak.
