Turin, July 5 (LaPresse) – Max Verstappen secured pole position for the British Grand Prix in Formula 1. On his second and final lap, the Dutch driver set the fastest time at 1:24.892, ahead of the two McLarens driven by Oscar Piastri (+0.103 seconds) and Lando Norris (+0.118 seconds). Disappointment for Ferrari: Lewis Hamilton qualified fifth, just 0.203 seconds behind Verstappen, with Charles Leclerc right behind in sixth, at +0.229 seconds. George Russell took fourth in the Mercedes (+0.137), while Kimi Antonelli qualified seventh (+0.482).
