Turin, 8 July (LaPresse) – Tadej Pogacar won the fourth stage of the Tour de France, the 174 km stage from Amiens Metropole to Rouen. The world champion beat Mathieu Van der Poel (Alpecin-Deceuninck) in a tight sprint, who remains in the yellow jersey with the same time as the UAE Team Emirates star – but with better placings – and Visma-Lease a bike captain Jonas Vingegaard. Thanks to this victory, the Slovenian cyclist achieved his 100th professional win, his 18th overall on the roads of the Grande Boucle. In the general classification, Van der Poel and Pogacar are tied with the same time, Vingegaard is third, 8 seconds behind. Tomorrow is the fifth stage of the Tour, a 33 km time trial starting and finishing in Caen, which is set to shake up the general classification.
