Milan, 9 July (LaPresse) – In the wake of today's positive results at the private test held at Misano, in which reigning MotoGP world champion Jorge Martin returned to the saddle of a premier class prototype for the first time since his last injury, Aprilia Racing has announced that the Spaniard's return has been scheduled: it will take place at the Tissot Grand Prix of the Czech Republic, scheduled to take place at Brno from 18-20 July. At the circuit on the banks of the Adriatic, Martin completed 64 laps on the RS-GP. He has been stationary since last April, when he crashed in the Qatar GP. That was his first appearance in a round of the current season. He had missed the previous rounds due to two pre-season injuries (one in Sepang testing, the other while training for the season opener). Before being definitively certain of his return, the Iberian will have to undergo a medical examination at the circuit on Thursday 17 July.
