Milan, July 9 (LaPresse) – Mission Finals accomplished. Italy beat Belgium 3-0 (25-19; 25-15; 25-18) in their debut match in Pool 7 in Apeldoorn and mathematically gained access to the 2025 Volleyball Nations League Finals scheduled in Lodz from July 23rd to 27th. The last piece was missing to reach the first goal of the Italian summer, and Italy achieved it by lengthening the streak of victories to 23 considering the official matches played from Macao 2024 to date. Like a steamroller, the Azzurri also ruled Belgium at the Omnisport Arena in Apeldoorn thanks to a high-level performance, showing new important signs of physical and technical growth. Tomorrow at 5 p.m. they will be back on the court to face the returning Boskovic's Serbia, who achieved their first victory in the VNL against the Czech Republic, in a challenge that will replay one of the most authentic rivalries in world volleyball.
