Turin, July 10 (LaPresse) – “The Board of Directors of Al-Hilal Club, chaired by His Excellency Mr. Fahad bin Saad bin Nafel, has completed the signing of French international Theo Hernández from AC Milan,” read an official statement from the Saudi club. The left-back has signed a three-year contract until the end of the 2027/28 season. The signing took place at the Four Seasons George V Hotel in Paris.
“Hernández, 27, joins Al-Hilal as one of Europe’s top players,” the club added, noting his achievements with Milan, including a Serie A title in 2022 and the Italian Super Cup in early 2025. Internationally, Hernández has played for France's youth teams and made his senior debut in 2021. He has 38 international caps, the latest during last month’s UEFA Nations League.
AC Milan later confirmed the deal, thanking Theo for his six years at the club and wishing him well. "Six unforgettable years, magical moments, endless memories. Thank you, Theo!" the club posted on social media alongside a farewell video.
