Turin, July 18 (LaPresse) – Italy men's basketball head coach Gianmarco Pozzecco has announced the roster for the 2025 Training Camp, to be held in Folgaria (Trento) from July 23 to 31. The camp marks the beginning of preparations for FIBA EuroBasket (August 28–September 14) and will include participation in the Trentino Basket Cup (August 2–3). Simone Fontecchio will join the team on July 30, while Danilo Gallinari will report after completing club commitments. Donte DiVincenzo has been invited by the Italian Basketball Federation to join the group for training starting July 30.
"The coaching staff has also included Polonara among the available players. Although currently unable to attend, Achille remains an integral part of the Azzurri group," reads a FIP statement. Also on the list is Darius Thompson, who has expressed to the coach his desire to wear the National Team jersey as soon as the opportunity arises.
