Rome, July 19 (LaPresse) – No penalty for Marc Marquez, who wins the sprint race of the Czech Republic GP, the twelfth round of the MotoGP World Championship. Race stewards found no irregularities in tire pressure. No penalties were issued for Rins or Ogura either.
The Spanish Ducati rider secures his twelfth sprint victory in as many short-format races, finishing ahead of the KTMs of Pedro Acosta and Enea Bastianini. Bezzecchi finished fourth, followed by Quartararo, Fernandez, and Bagnaia. Marquez now leads the standings with 356 points, ahead of Alex Marquez with 261 and Bagnaia with 200.
