Rome, 20 July (LaPresse) – Tim Wellens wins the fifteenth stage of the Tour de France from Muret to Carcassonne, covering 169 kilometres. The Belgian rider from UAE Team Emirates crossed the finish line alone, ahead of Victor Campenaerts by 1'28‘ and Julian Alaphilippe by 1'36’, who beat Wout Van Aert in a photo finish in the group of immediate pursuers. This is the Belgian champion's first victory in the Tour de France. This is the fifth victory for UAE Team Emirates XRG in this edition. Pogacar, who finished 6'07 behind, retains the yellow jersey.
