London, July 21 (LaPresse) – Paul Gascoigne, 58-year-old English football legend, was rushed to hospital Friday evening. This was reported by 'The Sun' on its website. 'Gazza' was found semi-conscious in the bedroom of his home in Poole, Dorset, by his friend and personal assistant, Steve Foster, who immediately took him to the hospital, where he was admitted to intensive care; his condition is now stable. Foster said Gascoigne wants “to thank everyone for the support received from many old friends wishing him well and hoping to see him back to full health.” Now out of danger and stable, he is continuing treatment at a hospital near his home, where he is expected to stay for several days.
