Florence, 22 July (LaPresse) – Celeste Pin, a former footballer from the 1980s and 1990s, who played for Perugia, Fiorentina, Verona and Siena during his career, was found dead in his home in Florence, in Via dei Massoni. The alarm was raised shortly after lunchtime by a relative. Paramedics and police arrived at the scene. Pin, who was born in San Martino di Colle Umberto (Treviso), was 64 years old. The hypothesis is that he took his own life. The former footballer, who played a total of 263 matches in Serie A, 200 of which were for Fiorentina, had remained attached to Florence. Among his teammates was the current Fiorentina coach Stefano Pioli.
