Turin, 22 July (LaPresse) – Como will face Barcelona on 10 August at 9 p.m. at the “Johann Cruyff” stadium for the 60th edition of the Joan Gamper Trophy, the famous “Festa del Gamper Estrella Damm”, in a historic match that will see the two teams face each other for the first time in Como's 118-year history and Barça's 125-year history. ‘This is a very prestigious event for Como,’ reads a statement from the Lombardy-based club, ‘it will be the ninth Italian club to participate in the Gamper Trophy, after Sampdoria, Milan, Inter, Juventus, Napoli, Parma, Roma and Brescia.’
