Rome, July 24 (LaPresse) – "The president tricked me. The decision to return was already made, and leaving because of the difficulties felt wrong toward the club, the team, and the fans. I was angry for an hour, then I started thinking about the future," said Lazio head coach Maurizio Sarri with a smile, commenting on the club's transfer ban for this season. Sarri, who has returned to lead the Biancocelesti after resigning two years ago, addressed speculation about his comeback: "Some said I returned because I had no offers. I had four Serie A clubs interested, plus one from Arabia and some from South America. It was a prolific year in that sense, but I chose Lazio because of the bond with the club and the environment – including the kit managers and the chef. It's satisfying to be back; challenges are part of the journey," Sarri explained.
