Milan, 25 July (LaPresse) – "First cycle finished, finally after two months we're going home for a few days. We love you so much, our daddy." This is what Achille Polonara's wife, Erika Bufano, wrote in a video and post on Instagram, sharing images of the basketball player's return home. Polonara, who plays for Virtus Bologna, is undergoing treatment for myeloid leukaemia. He is being treated in Valencia, Spain, where his family has joined him and rented an apartment. The video also shows the welcome the national team player received from his children. ‘An indescribable emotion. Obviously, it's all thanks to you,’ Polonara replied to his wife.
