Trento, July 30 (LaPresse) – Tomorrow marks the final day of training camp in Folgaria for the Italian national basketball team, before moving to Trento to compete in the Trentino Cup — a key test tournament against Poland, Iceland, and Senegal ahead of the European Championships.

On Friday, a press conference will be held at the Buonconsiglio Castle in Trento, where head coach Gianmarco Pozzecco will announce the official roster for the four-team tournament taking place Saturday and Sunday at 'Il T Quotidiano Arena'.

Among the Azzurri will be Donte DiVincenzo, NBA champion in 2021 with the Milwaukee Bucks alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo. Joining him on the court will be Simone Fontecchio, who recently signed with the Miami Heat, Danilo Gallinari, and Nicolò Melli, fresh off a EuroLeague triumph.

The event will also see the return to the court of two former Trento players: Matteo Spagnolo and Saliou Niang. It promises to be a thrilling tournament, featuring Italy, Tacko Fall’s Senegal (formerly with the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers), Jeremy Sochan’s Poland, and Iceland.
