Milan, 31 July (LaPresse) – Roma beat Cannes 3-0 in a friendly match played at the Tre Fontane stadium. For the Giallorossi, coached by Gasperini, El Shaarawy scored in the first half after just three minutes, surprising the French defence with a long throw-in from Hermoso. The second goal came in the 43rd minute from Ukrainian striker Dovbyk, assisted by the rampant El Shaarawy. In the second half, there was the usual flurry of substitutions and the final goal came in the 88th minute, again from new signing Ferguson, assisted by Angelino. Also making his debut in the second half was the Giallorossi's latest arrival, Brazilian full-back Wesley, signed from Flamengo. Second goalkeeper Vasquez also made his debut in goal. Dybala and Svilar were absent due to physical problems.
