Milan, 2 August (LaPresse) – Italy did not go beyond fourth place in the final of the 4×100 mixed medley relay at the World Swimming Championships in Singapore. The Italian team, consisting of Manuel Frigo, Carlos D'Ambrosio, Sara Curtis and Emma Menicucci, finished with a time of 3'21‘48, a new Italian record. Gold went to the United States in 3'18’48, a new world record, silver to Russia in 3'19‘68 and bronze to France in 3'21’35.
