Rome, August 13 (LaPresse) – AC Milan announces the permanent signing of defender Koni De Winter from Genoa. The Belgian has signed a contract with the Rossoneri until June 30, 2030.

Born in Antwerp (Belgium) on June 12, 2002, De Winter developed through the youth academies of Lierse and Zulte Waregem before moving to Juventus in 2018. There, he played with the Bianconeri youth teams and Juventus U23. He made his senior debut on November 23, 2021, in a Champions League match against Chelsea.

Following a loan to Empoli, he was transferred to Genoa, where he made 57 appearances and scored 3 goals over two seasons. In March 2024, he received his first call-up to the senior Belgian national team and made his debut in a friendly against Ireland.

Koni De Winter will wear shirt number 5 for AC Milan.
