Rome, 24 August (LaPresse) – At the Women's Volleyball World Cup, the Italian team beat Cuba 3-0 in the second match of Pool B and advanced to the round of 16. After their clear victory in their debut against Slovakia, the national team, Olympic gold medallists in Paris, scored another crushing victory. In Phuket, they won with a score of 25-9, 25-8, 25-16. This is the 31st consecutive victory for the Italian team, who will face Belgium on Tuesday at 12 noon in their last match of the group stage.
