Rome, 5 September (LaPresse) – Italy's U21 team, led by Silvio Baldini, got off to a difficult start with a hard-fought victory. In their first match of the qualifying round for the upcoming European Championships, the Azzurrini came from behind to beat Montenegro 2-1 at the “Picco” stadium in La Spezia. Italy went behind in the 4th minute after Kotic scored following a defensive lapse, but Lipani equalised in the 52nd minute and Koleosho scored the winning goal from the penalty spot in the 79th minute.
