Rome, 7 September (LaPresse) – The President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, invited the athletes of the women's national volleyball team immediately after their victory in the world final against Turkey today in Bangkok. The invitation was conveyed by the president of CONI, Luciano Buonfiglio, who was contacted by the Quirinale. The reception will take place as soon as possible, depending on the athletes' commitments.
