Turin, Sept. 7 (LaPresse) – Brazil won the bronze medal at the Women’s Volleyball World Championship, which concludes today in Bangkok, Thailand. In the third-place match, the verdeoro defeated Japan 3–2. The set scores were: 12–25, 17–25, 25–19, 29–27, 16–18. The gold medal final between Italy and Turkey is scheduled for 14:30 Italian time.
