On Sunday, we managed to do better than in the warm-up, even though I'm not too satisfied with the result: I finished 7th after starting far back, but the race pace wasn't very fast. So there's work to be done. We need to take another step forward: we can't afford another weekend like Barcelona, I don't want to allow it. So we need to do better." This is what Pecco Bagnaia, official Ducati rider, told Sky Sport on the eve of the San Marino Grand Prix weekend. ‘The most important sessions are pre-qualifying and qualifying, because then in the race, for better or worse, we always go pretty fast. It will be essential to be at the front right from the start, and qualifying will be important because this is also a track where it's difficult to overtake, so you have to be on the front row.
