Rome, Sept. 12 (LaPresse) – "I didn’t talk about flaws, but about certainties. The team knows how to do certain things. I also said we need to fine-tune a few aspects. I have to be consistent and smart enough to understand what the team is capable of. We don't want to lose our certainties. I'm not here to revolutionize things – that would be impossible. This team has been at the top of Italian and European football for years. We just need to add a few things to help it perform even better, to regain passion and confidence to get through the season. We need to find the right energy and motivation to achieve our goals," he added.

"I'm happy with the players I have, really happy with the squad at my disposal. The 25 I have are the best players around, and I'm pleased with them," he stressed.
"The team worked well – those who stayed with us. The others were with their national teams, which gives them a mental and emotional boost. It allowed them to switch off a little. From a mental point of view, it gives something extra. Today is the first day with the full group. What matters is that everyone is well – they are all ready to play," he concluded.
