Rome, Sept. 15 (LaPresse) – Hurdler Lorenzo Simonelli, coming off a challenging season, has qualified for the semifinals of the 110m hurdles at the Athletics World Championships. The Italian, indoor world silver medalist in Glasgow 2024 and European champion in Rome 2024, finished third in his heat with a time of 13.25 seconds.
The victory went to Jamaican Bennett with 13.20 seconds, second was Kwaou-Mathey with 13.25, and fourth was Japanese Nomoto with 13.29.
