Rome, Sept. 29 (LaPresse) – “After four days in intensive care, during which he fought with all his strength, I had to make the hardest decision of my life and say goodbye to Roscoe. He never stopped fighting until the very end.”
With these words, Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton, in a long post on his Instagram account, announced the death of his dog, Roscoe the bulldog, who passed away on September 28 in the arms of the seven-time world champion, who in recent days had canceled several engagements to stay by the side of his four-legged friend.
Putting a dog to sleep “is one of the most painful experiences, and I feel a deep connection with all those who have gone through the loss of a beloved pet,” Hamilton wrote.
“I am so grateful and honored to have shared my life with such a beautiful soul, an angel, and a true friend. Welcoming Roscoe into my life was the best decision I ever made, and I will forever cherish the memories we created together,” the Ferrari driver continued in his post.
