Milan, 15 October (LaPresse) – Frenkie de Jong has signed a new contract with Barcelona until 2029, alongside Barcelona president Joan Laporta. ‘As I have always said, I have always dreamed of playing for Barcelona. Now that I am living that dream, I want to continue pursuing it for many more years and win more titles,’ said the Dutch midfielder during the signing ceremony broadcast on the club's social media channels. In his seven seasons at Barcelona, De Jong has played 267 games, scoring 19 goals and providing 23 assists. In total, he has won six titles: two La Liga titles, two Copa del Rey titles and two Spanish Super Cups.
