Bologna, October 16 (LaPresse) – The Bologna State Police have arrested Luca Vildoza, a player for Virtus Pallacanestro Bologna born in 1995, and his wife Milica Vildoza, a Serbian volleyball player born in 1999, for personal injuries against a healthcare worker who was assaulted last night in Viale Silvani, at the corner with Via Calori, near Porta San Felice. According to reports, around 11 PM a police patrol from the General Prevention and Public Rescue Office intervened following a report of an assault on medical personnel. Paramedics had parked their ambulance to locate the site of an emergency intervention when a black car approached, and the driver began verbally attacking them without apparent reason. The tension escalated when one of the healthcare workers, an Italian woman born in 1970, got out of the vehicle to ask for explanations: the young woman grabbed her by the hair and neck, while the man then held her by the arm and lifted her by the neck. Other medical personnel intervened to separate the parties just before the police arrived. The two assailants were arrested and held pending a summary trial.
