The decision was taken by the club with a note on its website: "Genoa CFC – if it is the law – communicated by Patrick Vieira is not the first member of the team. The club would like to call the technical staff and its staff for the seriousness and professionalism to demonstrate the strength of the medium and the best wishes for the continuation of their professional career. The technical leadership of the First Team has been entrusted on an interim basis to mister Roberto Murgita assisted by mister Domenico Criscito".
