We celebrate because we kept trying until the end, aware that things could have gone worse.” So said Inter coach Cristian Chivu to Dazn after the last-minute 2-1 away win over Verona. Responding to a question about Lautaro, who did not score today, Chivu clarified: “He hasn’t scored for a week; he scored in Brussels. We shouldn’t make an issue out of it. From a leadership point of view, he’s an example for everyone — it’s never easy to play every three days. Let’s not create a problem where there’s no need.”
