Milan, 5 November (LaPresse) – The ageless Venus Williams. At 45, the American champion shows no signs of slowing down and will return to the court for her 33rd consecutive season in 2026. The eldest of the Williams sisters has registered for the ASB Classic in Auckland, one of the tournaments preceding the Australian Open in January. The organisers themselves announced this on the tournament's social media profiles. Currently ranked 570th in the world, the seven-time Slam champion is the oldest player in the WTA rankings and won one of her 49 titles in Auckland in 2015, beating Caroline Wozniacki in the final. The number 1 seed in the tournament will be Japan's Naomi Osaka.
