Milan, 11 Nov. (LaPresse) – ‘The road ahead is uphill, and it's clear that only unity can help us turn the situation around in the last three races.’ This is how Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc seems to respond in a post on his Instagram profile to yesterday's words from Stellantis president John Elkann about the disappointing weekend for the Maranello team in Brazil. ‘It was a very difficult weekend in São Paulo. It's disappointing to come home with almost no points for the team at a critical moment in the season as we fight for second place in the constructors' championship,’ admitted the Monegasque driver. Lewis Hamilton was on the same wavelength, reiterating on social media: "I support my team. I support myself. I will not give up. Not now, not ever.‘ ’It wasn't the race we wanted, especially after some good progress,‘ added the British driver, who spoke to the media in his country after the race about a sort of ’nightmare" regarding his first season at Ferrari.
