Rome, Nov. 20 (LaPresse) – On Friday, Nov. 21, at 8:30 p.m. at the PalaDozza in Piazza Azzarita, Virtus Pallacanestro Bologna will face Maccabi Tel Aviv in a basketball game valid for the 2025/26 Euroleague season. For reasons of public order and safety, the Municipality of Bologna explains in a statement, from 1 p.m. to midnight on Friday, Nov. 21 (and in any case until further notice), parking will be prohibited with the forced removal of cars, motorcycles, mopeds, and bicycles, as well as the related parking racks, in the PalaDozza area and surrounding streets, specifically: Piazza Azzarita, Via Graziano, Via Calori, Via Nanetti, Via Lenzi, Via Brugnoli, Via Grimaldi, Via Giorgio Ercolani, Via Riva Reno, Via Battistelli, and Piazza della Resistenza. An urban safety order has also been signed, ordering the removal of any construction materials and tools present on public roads in the area between Viale A. Silvani, Via delle Lame, Via Riva di Reno, Via San Felice, and Porta San Felice, with the work area to be closed by 4 p.m. on Friday, November 21. Finally, considering that the security measures put in place by the police headquarters for the match will involve the creation of a restricted area that is not accessible to everyone, with consequent difficulties for those who access educational and school facilities in the area, the order stipulates that educational, school, and extracurricular activities must end by 3:45 p.m. and that the school complexes must close by 4 p.m. for the schools of the Istituto Comprensivo 17, located in Via Graziano 8 and Via Calori 8, namely the Teresina Guidi nursery school (IC 17 Via Luigi Calori 8), the Teresina Guidi Primary School (IC 17, Via Graziano 8), and the ‘Giovan Battista Gandino’ Lower Secondary School (IC17, Via Graziano 8). The school bus stop in Via Calori will also be closed.
