Florence, Dec. 9 (LaPresse) – “I am in constant contact with Fiorentina. These days, speaking as both mayor and fan, I stand with the purple jersey. I will be at the stadium on Thursday and Sunday, as always.”
This is what Florence Mayor Sara Funaro said this morning at the Davide Astori Sports Center during a press conference on the progress and timeline of the renovation works at the Artemio Franchi stadium. She also spoke about the situation of the purple team, currently last in the Serie A standings and still without a win after 14 matchdays.
