Turin, Dec. 16 (LaPresse) – The Serie A sporting judge has handed a two-match ban to Lazio midfielder Toma Basic after Matchday 15 “for, in the 32nd minute of the second half, when the ball was not within playing distance, striking an opposing player in the side with his forearm and a clenched fist”. A one-match suspension was instead given to eight players: Heggem (Bologna), Zaccagni (Lazio), Belghali (Hellas Verona), Frese (Hellas Verona), Gaspar (Lecce), Koopmeiners (Juventus), Payero (Cremonese), Thorstvedt (Sassuolo). As for coaches, one-match bans were imposed on Paolo Zanetti (Hellas Verona) and Cesc Fabregas (Como).
