Rome, 22 December (LaPresse) – New joy for Italian volleyball. Sir Sicoma Perugia overwhelms Japan's Bluteon Osaka in the Club World Cup final, winning the title for the third time. At the end of the match, the result was 3-0 for the Umbrians, with set scores of 25-20, 25-21 and 29-27. With Perugia's triumph, Italian volleyball is world champion with both the women's and men's national teams and with the clubs: Perugia for the men and Scandicci for the women.
