Roberto Carlos underwent tests due to a blood clot detected in his leg during a routine medical check-up. After performing an MRI scan and other tests, doctors discovered that his heart was not functioning properly, leading to the decision to operate immediately. The operation, initially considered simple, lasted almost three hours due to complications that arose during the procedure.
