Rome, 10 January (LaPresse) – Marco Odermatt leads after the first run of the giant slalom in Adelboden, made even more difficult by heavy and continuous snowfall, and is aiming for his fifth consecutive victory in the Swiss resort. Behind him are Brazil's Lucas Pinheiro Braathen and Norway's Timon Haugan. Alex Vinatzer also had an excellent first run, finishing sixth and aiming for the podium in the second run.
