Turin, 18 January (LaPresse) – Arianna Fontana won the gold medal in the 1500 metres at the European Short Track Championships currently underway in Tiburg, the Netherlands. The Italian, who will be the flag bearer at the Milan-Cortina Olympics, finished ahead of Dutch skater Zoe Deltrap and her compatriot Arianna Sighel, who took the bronze medal.
