Milan, 19 January (LaPresse) – ‘It's fantastic for me to be back competing again, and what better place to do so than in Italy in a race that I've always enjoyed.’ These were Federica Brignone's words when she met the press ahead of her return to World Cup competition in the giant slalom at Kronplatz, 292 days after her terrible accident on 3 April in Val di Fassa. ‘I'm here to test myself, especially my mind and body. I'm not here for a great result, but it's already special for me to be competing tomorrow. Whatever happens will be fantastic,’ added the champion from Valle d'Aosta.
