In a match interrupted a couple of times by rain, the Italian tennis player, seeded number 7, defeated Poland's Magdalena Frech, ranked 57th in the WTA, in two sets with a score of 6-2, 6-3.In the next round, Paolini will face American Iva Jovic, who defeated Australian Priscilla Hon with a clear 6-1, 6-2 victory.
