Turin, Jan. 21 (LaPresse) – "I'm not ruling out winning the Europa League. Winning a trophy in Europe has become a problem for Italian clubs; you only have to look at yesterday's games (in the Champions League, ed.). If this becomes the yardstick, we run the risk of always being very disappointed. We need to shift our focus slightly and think about improving and growing at every opportunity, whether that be matches, the transfer market, or cups. When you feel like you're a strong team, then maybe you can win something." These were the words of Roma coach Gian Piero Gasperini at a press conference on the eve of the Europa League match against Stuttgart. ‘We're in a good position in the Europa League. We know that if we win, we'll have a good chance of skipping the play-offs, but at the moment, it's also true that, given Sunday's results, the league is undoubtedly our main focus,’ added the Giallorossi coach, who continued: "The team is doing well. It's clear that tomorrow's match is very close to Sunday's match against Milan, which is obviously the game we're focusing on most at the moment."
