Rome, Feb. 14 (LaPresse) – Tottenham Hotspur has officially announced the hiring of Igor Tudor as the new head coach until the end of the season. The Croatian coach, formerly with Juventus, replaces Thomas Frank, who was dismissed in recent days. Tudor will make his debut in the Premier League match against top-of-the-table Arsenal on February 22. “Welcome Igor Tudor,” Tottenham wrote on social media to announce the new coach. “It is an honor to join this club at an important moment. I am aware of the responsibility entrusted to me, and my goal is clear: to bring greater consistency to our performances and compete with determination in every match,” Tudor said, speaking about Tottenham’s situation, currently 18th in the league. “This team has great quality, and my task is to organize it, give it energy, and quickly improve our results,” he added.
