Cortina d'Ampezzo (Belluno), 15 February (LaPresse) – "Have I made history? I think I already did that before, with a 15-year career at this level and two World Cups. I've probably done even more than that. These two medals don't change my status, or at least they shouldn't. What I had already achieved in this sport was the pinnacle. However, I realise that in the Olympic Games at home, they make more of a difference in terms of media coverage. In terms of sport, they don't add that much more. I hope I don't realise it too much, in the sense that I hope it doesn't change too much." Federica Brignone said this after winning Olympic gold in the women's giant slalom at the Milan-Cortina Games.
