Milan, 16 February (LaPresse) – The Cremona Police Headquarters has issued 20 stadium bans, totalling 50 years, against 16 Neapolitan ultras and four Cremonese supporters. The incidents refer to events that took place before and after the league match between the two teams on 28 December. In particular, it is noted that before the start of the match, about twenty Neapolitan ultras – who had arrived in the city in a minivan and two cars, all rented, moving together through the streets and squares near the sports facility – had first attacked a Grigiorosso supporter on his way to the stadium, stealing his scarf and cap with the official colours of Cremonese, and shortly afterwards, in a car park adjacent to the Zini stadium, two other Cremonese fans, one of whom was elderly. During the match, several smoke bombs were set off in the away supporters' section. After analysing numerous images, the Digos (Special Operations Group) of the Cremona Police Headquarters managed to identify 14 members of the Neapolitan ultras group (including the perpetrators of the criminal acts) as well as two of those responsible for setting off the smoke bombs inside the stadium. At the end of the match, around 50 Cremonese ultras, wearing masks and brandishing sticks and poles, attempted to reach the away supporters' section but were stopped by the intervention of a team from the Mobile Unit. In this case too, following analysis of video footage taken by forensic police personnel, the Cremona Digos (Special Operations Group) managed to identify four masked Cremonese supporters in possession of offensive weapons.
