Bormio (Sondrio), February 16. (LaPresse) – Flora Tabanelli wins the bronze medal at the Milan-Cortina Games in freestyle big air. The 18-year-old Italian, who suffered a knee injury last November while training in Stubai, competed with a torn cruciate ligament but chose to undergo conservative therapy rather than surgery so that she could compete in the Games. The gold medal went to Canada's Megan Oldham, and the silver to China's Ailang Eileen Gu. This is Italy's first medal in freestyle at the Olympics and the 23rd for the Italian team at these Games.
