Milan, 16 February (LaPresse) – Elisa Confortola also qualifies for the semi-finals of the women's 1000 metres short track at the Winter Olympics in Milan Cortina. With a spectacular final sprint, the Italian finished second in her quarter-final heat with a time of 1'28‘659. First place went to Canada's Courteney Sarault in 1'28’592.
